as much as I love my hobbies, I actually hate them. I basically have four hobbies: bowling, golf, softball, and racing. the problem with all of these hobbies is that they are so damn expensive!!! well, I mean, they don't have to be expensive. but then again, I don't compete in things im not good at and/or cant win.
my biggest complaint with bowling is all the new balls that come out!!! there are soooo many I would LOVE to have and/or try but I just cant afford them!!!
1st world problems. lol :o

Bowling balls are like women, you wanna try them all!
im into random things ranging from fitness to computers to wood working. In general i just enjoy building things whether is a diet and workout for a client, gaming comp or my own bowling ball spinner

O so true. And even at my age (44) it still hasn't changed! Fortunately marriage keeps me going down the right path instead of the STD path lol

True. but at my age, you are satisfied with what you have already. It's enough just looking at them and relating casually to them. Even if I truly had opportunity to try them all, I could not handle it. So I keep a safe distance.
(are we talking about bowling balls or women here? I forget...)
(Cmon. Ya know it true. Admit it)

To answer the question.
Road cycling and spinning
bowling (of course)
golf (at least the driving range. no time for a full nine holes. Maybe this year I will make time).
Roller Disco. (no they don't play disco any more, but you get the idea. ....Okay, they do play some disco on oldies night and I get to relive my past youth). cliche, I know, but those were the happiest days of my youth
Ich lerne Deutsce. (my wife is studying Spanish
I enjoy reading "kick butt fiction" ( I love the Jack Reacher Series).
Watching The Vikings TV series. (In my next life I plan to come back Ragnar Lothbrok)
Not the mention the classic pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. :)

so what your saying is that your 3 ball roller is filled and the balls give you good scores so why look for another one? In to which id reply im still young and can handle trying any balls that i have the opportunity to and if i find one a like i can always buy a bigger bag :)

I'm saying the more balls you have, the more baggage you have to haul to the lanes. :)
Keep it simple.
Are we talking bowling? women? both?

Bowling and women. After reading this thread I don't really see too much different. The both frustrate the hell out of me and I wouldn't/couldn't give either up.

My hobbies now are bowling and motorcycle riding. I don't go on real long trips on the cycle anymore because of osteoarthritis in my hips and knees. I love it too much to give it up though just like sex. LOL. It is a '96 Suzuki Intruder 800cc that I bought brand new and still have. It still looks like new but I don't. LOL. I just never got tired of riding my Intruder. When I go for a ride it seems to calm me down and lift my spirits. It seems to be addicting to me. I've had offers from guys to buy my bike but I just couldn't seem to let go of it.
It has become a close friend to me. Maybe someday but it will be tough I'm sure.

Good one... better than the zinger I tossed at my hubby the other day when I admitted to him I don't have any problem playing with his in public.
Bowling balls that is :)
