I now need to sell some of my bowling balls, and my question is: Have any of you ever used Crags List to sell bowling balls. Any luck getting what you paid for them new since they are already drilled?

Like the little old lady that lived in a shoe, my garage work shop is getting dangerous,,,,, avalanche being my main concern!! Thinking about taking pictures of them, and listing them!

One ball I will NEVER SALE,,, is my Storm IQ tour butterscotch sweet 300 ball! It is now a part of my family!!

I've never, ever would think of even trying to sell a used ball for what I paid for it new.
Given that a used ball isn't worth more than $50 around here, I donate mine to the youth league or high school team.

I was just kidding about the (Getting what I paid for them new, no charge for the pre-drilled holes) lol..... Bill don't you know me by now??? (:)
I don't like kids much, so don't plan on giving them to some brat!!

Now,,, if I knew of some good needy young man or woman, I might be more prone to giving them a ball. Most kids now days don't deserve a free ball! Too many of them are takers themselves, and not givers! Give me,,, give me,,,,, give me,,, Most don't know what a hard days work is on the farm!! Play them darn video games all day long while eating potato chips, and drink coke, while mom and day work their tails off! They have no PRIDE, takers Bill!!

I don't know about you bill,,, but no one ever gave me anything I didn't earn myself!

I would gladly give some of my balls away if knew them personally, and did background checks on them!! Some Kids,,,,,,,((((MANY)))) get to much handed down to them, and don't know the meaning of "WORK"!

I had a job from when I was 10 years old, until I retired doing Iron Work. I wouldn't accept anything I didn't work for. My first job at 10 was milking cows for my Uncle Jeremiah in the small town I grew up in! Also delivered the milk with a bike and hand made trailer. The milk was in a glass bottle and we delivered it to the front doors of the customers!

You could also (possibly) sell through your pro-shop? I've heard of people doing that. The pro shop gets a commission, naturally, but you don't have to be bothered with going through the work of listing them online, dealing with people you don't know, or worrying that some brat will want to take them from you!

I have to agree with MICHAEL on the one ball I will never sell. I shot my one and only 300 with a Brunswick punisher. the ball is no longer useable but I will never sell it!!!

*Checks profile*

I should be good. Note that in my profile, under equipment used I just have "Anything that works." That includes mainly donated bowling balls.

Feel free to send me one of your used bowling balls. :D

------------------------> I would 75lockwood, ,,, IT,, it doesn't make sense you living in Canada! Iceman would worry that his balls would remain frozen a good part of the year!!

Frozen balls are something I have had to deal with my whole life, (being an Ironworker in the winter)! Yep many times I would leave my balls in the trunk of my truck while at work, only to find that they were frozen upon bowling that night on league!

I remember one ball getting so dare frozen that I just removed it myself from my bag,,,,,, it was painful,,,, all my balls have a special place in my heart! I remember looking at the damage I did that ball, burrrrr,,,, it brings COLD thoughts just reminiscing!!

I would, and might be giving away 3 balls, very soon! I am trying to get my 3 boys,,,,, (In their 30's, and avid golfers), to take up the game of Bowling! My middle one came over last night to take a look at, (what balls are to be given away)! He is a monster,,, (teacher) and looks like a NFL tight end!! One great thing is that his span is about the same as mine, and the thumb hole (Vise), fits also! He is lucky in that respect, will not need to plug the ball.

Iam working on them...... My youngest just graduated from the police academy, wants to be a sheriff,

the oldest is living the dream life as a pharmaceutical sales rep for Johnson/Johnson.

All three are going to get a free ball, (((((Just to see if they like the sport))) That's when I will know if they actually have my DNA in their veins!! All three are bigger then DAD,,, and I think they would make hell-lash-us bowlers.... lol~~

What a team,,,, 5 pence!!!! (last name is pence)!,,,, is there a coin 5 pence.... I know there is a 6pence... lol

Pence is where we get the word penny from so 5 pence would be a nickel;)

LOTS OF GOOD FOOD!! LOL Their Mom is a good cook!! I remember Pete winning the "who could throw the hardball fastest contest at Royals Stadium every time we went to a home game. The would put his name up on the score board before the game with the speed he won with.... (it was usually 84 to 90 miles per hour).
He could throw a softball from deep center field to home plate in the air.... He is an ANAMIAL!! All of them have gifts in various sports, Mike, the oldest is, and made his way through college playing golf!, Nick ran track and was one heck of a runner..... They turned out better then their dad, and I am happy for them!! I think we could make one hell of a team, especially since Jason doesn't' want to bowl with me anymore... (:(
