Greetings to all!

I have been one of those people that have been lurking on the site, reading, learning, absorbing. Occasionally, I thought I would like to respond to a thread, but never took the time to register...THEN, I saw the DIVA going to be given away and register I did.

Unfortunately, after a few days, I was notified I was banned - so I registered again using a different name, as I sortof remembered reading something about troubles with similar names. Again, after a few days, i was notified I was banned, so I contacted the boards. In an email they indicated: "we have been experiencing spam-bots lately and the COPPA we put in place is a bit too aggressive", and they activated my account - but, not until today, so I guess the DIVA wasn't meant to be. I guess I shouldn't have made fun of the name or color...lol.

I am in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, bowl at two different Brunswick houses, and have been back bowling about 9 years after leaving the sport for about 15 years. I truly enjoy the sport and want to work on bettering myself now that I have more time available. I'm excited to be part of the boards, and can't wait to continue learning more than I have from all of the intelligent, giving and inquisitive people on the boards. In fact, my first post won't be too far behind this one, as I really need help. Although, don't ask my hubby, he will tell you I am beyond help....oh, maybe he wasn't talking bowling!

Welcome to the boards. I, too, was immediately classified as a spambot, but since I've run forums before I was 99.999999999999999% sure why that happened and contacted the admin. He rectified the situation very quickly, so credit to him. I managed to get here in time to have a shot at the Diva, but I can't say I'm disappointed that I didn't win it. It's that ugly!
