I know some other manufacturers change the core at certain lbs. Does DV8 do this as well? I have a 13# misfit and didn't know if it had a generic core or not. Also I was going to use the 13# ball for my wife, but was thinking about using it for dry to light oil conditions. Only thing I am worried about is the weight difference. Probably a bad Idea to use a 15# strike ball then a 13# spare/ dry condition ball?

I don't know anything about DV8's or core's but when you say 15# Strike ball do you mean 15 lb strike ball?

I can't find the e-mail I had from DV8 regarding this but if my memory is correct, they use the same core down to 12 pounds.

My wife has a 13# Diva and I am pretty sure it has the same core. Even if it doesn't it still hits like it does! lol

This is good info I was trying to find who keeps the same cores as my wife rolls a 12# ball and I would hate to spend lots of money on equipment that has a generic core. Pay more for less R&D F that!

Motive states on their website that ALL their ball weights use the corresponding core. They DO NOT use "generic" "pancake" weight blocks.

You know there is a Motive Ball that really catches my eye and that's the Motive Thrash Frenzy It Rocks I saw the video on it it looks awesome hooking right into the pocket every time strike after strike after strike!! http://www.bowling.com/products/motiv-thrash-frenzy.htm That is the URL for it check it out you might like it too its only $131.95 dollars so not too expensive if I could I would buy it if my coach recommends it to me? or says it would help my game.

Sra, every video a ball company produces it a strike after strike video. Do not use those videos to determine your ball choice. The Thrash Frenzy is a great ball though.

Reason I liked the ball is cause it hooked late like the ball I carry now if I even got another ball it would have to hook late like that that's all plus the site recommended it.
