I know this was in a past post but I need it again what does the clutch mean in bowling? In Facts whats the rest of the bowling lingo? Again?

Bowling in the clutch means bowling under pressure to perform well. Usually applies to only one frame, most often the tenth, when a close game comes down to the last bowler needing to strike out for his team to win. Some times it can apply to a whole game or even a series.

While you may bowl well in the clutch or poorly, a bowler who consistently bowls well under pressure is called a clutch bowler.

In Baseball, especially before the 90s, players who had relatively low batting averages (.250 or less) who hit well with men on base when their teams were behind were known as clutch hitters.
