I started a thread about Breaking Bad which received... Yeah.

But SURELY everyone is on board with Arrested Development!!! If not, you're making a HUGE MISTAKE!!! It's one of the funnier shows I've ever seen, I'd put it in my top 5 for sure!

Netflix just put on a whole new season (it has been off the air for years, but actually developed a huge following after it was cancelled and went to DVD), and I can't be more excited to watch it! I haven't seen an episode yet, but SURELY, SURELY we have people on this board who are into this show!

Oh dear. Yes, the first 3 seasons of this series are....just on their own level, ya know? One of the best of all time. I suggest watch 2 or 3 episodes of the new season at a time. It tends to get better as you go along. Pieces of the puzzle start to come in to place, if that makes sense. It's not like the original version, each episode focuses on a specific character this time around. It's amazing that the creator pulled this off, considering that I think they only had 2 days where all the actors were actually in the same room at one time.

I really cant wait! I didnt know they had such little time with the actors, but the cast is so impressive, I dont doubt it either.

Yep all the original people are in it, but I dont think they are all together until the last episode which I havent seen yet. Each episode of the new season features 3 or 4 of them at once.

And the return of Henry Winkler! Hahaha. Although Bob Loblaw is still my favorite character name of all time...

I've seen 3 or 4 episodes of the new season so far and it's really good! What a treat to have the funniest show ever back with new episodes after such a hiatus!

May have to give this one a try. When it was on I always thought it was just some quirky unfunny show and never really gave it a chance. Will have to possibly give it another shot if I can find it to stream from somewhere.

Here's the thing: It's VERY quirky, and a lot of the jokes will be in your face. But there are other jokes that are very subtle, and there are a ton of jokes you don't get until the 3rd or 4th time through.

The beauty of their writing is how they manage to tie all the episodes together. The first season is tough to get into, because they're just setting a foundation for future jokes, in many ways. Around halfway through you really start to get into some funny stuff, and by the second season it is just a blast!

I've found this 4th season to be very similar. They use some old jokes, but the first few episodes seem to be them setting a foundation for the jokes to come.

It's a rewarding experience to watch!
