I had a coaching session yesterday and it went well I worked on my sliding and I have to say I did it I learned to slide without fear of falling on my butt and a breaking something and I also learned how to slide without falling and breaking something which sets my mind at ease the thing I have to work on now is not dropping my shoulder way down low I need to keep it squared up with my target and my body in line with my knee and my slide foot. So I probably won't bowl another 200 tonight cause I be working on the mechanics of what I just learned but I been doing better under pressure so I might so well who knows, maybe no 200 , but something just as good. at least compared to way I been bowling lately, by that I mean before last week. Anyway League night is tonight so wish me luck everyone I will post my results along with everyone else at the end of the night.

Keep thinking positive...you will do great tonight. I'll think of you while I'm bowling...maybe it will help my own bowling.

Thank You, I appreciate that a lot and I will, I will keep my chin up and keep looking forward and keep thinking positive but not to be upset if I don't do as well as last week still stay positive even if I don't do as well as last week.

Thank you for sharing that. I did not realize that I had the same habits. I pick up so many bad habits from misinterpreting what I see the pros do. Once they stick, it takes a while to unlearn them. I will add solid finish position to the Winter overhaul of my game.

Your Welcome, I did the same thing and I also took every ones advise except my coach's and I ended up having to get my ball resurfaced for 25 bucks cause I used the simple green and alcohol cleaner for my ball see what alcohol does it take the polish off the ball and makes it dull and can't grab the lanes without the polish then and hook, it will make your ball not hook basically the pro shop guy told me to use this specific cleaner, that's made specifically for my kind of ball and it will make the ball hook, so I use it now and never had a problem since. Now I just go back once a month for a clean and polish which is 4 bucks or maybe just a clean or the other its 2 bucks each, polish & clean is 2 bucks each and so now I just do what my coach tells me to do and only what my coach tells me to do no offense to anyone on this board but that is what has worked for me so far and I am sticking to it.
