Well ran across another great deal on a very lightly
used Hell Raiser Terror with maybe 30 or less games
on it for only $20.00 I just couldn't refuse that deal.
I'll have to plug all the holes and re-drill it so I might
just try a Rico layout on it as I've never drilled that for
myself on any ball yet.
I decided that I wanted to tame the back end reaction
down just a little bit as everything I've got right now
looks like it has been shot out of a cannon when it hits
the dry back ends and hooks I want to try and get a little
more smoother reaction off the spot.

Craigslist..? Ebay?
Nope it was a local in house buy the first owner bought it
and couldn't keep it on the right side of the pocket so he
sold it to another guy. Then he couldn't get it to hook the
way he wanted it to so I ended up buying it on the cheap
as he just wanted to get rid of it so their loss my gain. LOL!!!!

Nice! 2 owners and still a single drill? That's rare

Great steal! The "I got this from so and so and it doesn't hook" usually leads to great finds. That's how I got my Hy-Road. The first two owners said it wouldn't hook. Traded a package of tape for it. Single drill just changed the grips, added the IT insert and it hooks great for me.
The layout was for a high rev player and neither of the first two owners could break 300 revs. I love it when a bowler tells the pro what layout they want when they don't really understand them as it leaves some great balls for me to get the kids in my youth league at cheap prices.

The "I got this from so and so and it doesn't hook" usually leads to great finds.
That is basically what happened on this ball bill, the first guy
is a super high rev bowler somewhere around 575-600 RPM's
almost another Tommy Jones type of bowler and he couldn't
handle the highly aggressive drill on the ball it hooked way
too much for him he bowled around maybe 10 - 15 games
with it and then he just stuck it in the bag and left it there.
Then the second guy is pretty much a newer bowler that has
hardly any hook on any ball that he throws. Well he seen that
it was hooking to much for the first guy and that the first guy
wasn't using it any longer so he buys it from him thinking it
was going to hook almost like that for him also. The first guy
decided he could take a big loss on the ball while trying to help
the new guy out so he sold it to him cheap for something like
$50.00 or $60.00 I think it was.
Then we try to help the new guy out by working with him on his
release and timing trying to teach him how to get it to hook for
him also but he gets frustrated easily and gave up on it because
he couldn't make it hook like the first guy did right away.
He said that he was just going to sell it to anybody that wanted
it and I asked him what he would take for it and he said that he
would take $20.00 for it so I bought it right there on the spot as
I didn't want to let that deal get away from me.
