Well I am creating two more monsters, form the very mold that created myself! Mike, an above average golfer that went through college on a golf scholarship, pharmaceutical sales rep and Pete, a man that can throw a ball 300 yards in the air, and has a pitching speed of over 100 mph, teacher with his masters degree!
They both want to bowl with me this winter for the FIRST time! I have this feeling that they will be AWSOME bowlers! Both are very athletic, and work out!

They just need a little guidance. I will suggest BowlingBoard.com and it excellent classes, along with James, who will be our team Captain, and has a 225/230 average, and is the alley driller at our pro shop. Also on our 5 person team will be Gene, who has a respectable 220 average, and you all know my incredible feats at 64!

It’s a 5 male league Monday nights, starting the 26 of August! It is a date That Will live in infinity! Can the lanes handle such a team! We shall see!!
Could this be like that Hank Williams Song: “ A Family Tradition”?
To be continued…….

Hahaha, nice! I always fear taking on new people into a 5 man mens league.

Some buddies of mine want me to bowl with them on a second league this fall (a 36 weeker ) and I'm not sure if I can handle two 5mm leagues.

Sounds like you have the making of a good team though - if they can steadily improve every week you've got a solid shot!

I fear the potential waiting of a 5 man league, its already pretty rough on a 4 man.
When i join a league, i want to BOWL.

Both of my fall men's leagues are 5 man teams. Given the better averages, so less spare attempts, they go just as fast as my mixed social league if not quicker!

Wow...that could be taken as a fairly sexist statement.

OK, met Mike, my oldest son that is One hell of a golfer, scholarships through college, and wound up almost making the ASU team,,, made it to the final cut. He did graduate from ASU with a business Degree. VERY PROUD DAD! He now works for Johnson & Johnson!

Long story short,,, he should have got the storm ball Natural!! He for the first time throwing a fingertip was awesome!
Great natural revolutions and style! He did pick the (Lights Out), storm ball! Gave him a few pointers, and bam,,, bam,,, bam,,, 3 strikes in role with his new ball, then he had to leave.

He just stopped off on his way h
ome to pick up his new storm bag, spare ball, and Lights out,,, OOO and his shoes! I am standing there with my mouth hanging open,,, what the ….. did he do that!!!!

I feel like he is going to be a contender!!

We have a solid team, I can feel in my broken down bones!!!

The big question now is, Can Peter show the same aptitude right off the bat!! He is the teacher, that has baseball talent, and golf! Should know soon, he is back from his vacation, and we will get a ball drilled in a couple days!

He just started teaching here in Kansas City, and I am sure will be an awesome teacher! I am giving him a new bag, shoes, and one of my Undefeated balls for starters!

He is just out of college having received his master’s degree, and will be paying back student debit for a while! Hey what are dad’s for!! Lol
This could be the TEAM TO Recon with on Monday nights! Its all male, and 5 on a team, looking forward to bowling with my boys!

That's cool that you got your boys on your team with you. One of the leagues I'm in I'm on a team with my dad, and bowling has been a great way to spend some time together. I'm sure you guys will have a lot of fun.

They won't let me bowl in the women's league so I can't compare their times.

Just giving you some guff. I actually laughed when I first read the comment, as years ago I bowled on a 5 person mixed league and I rode to the alley with a friend that bowled on a 5 person men's league. I was always waiting for him as we were done first, as it seemed the "primadonna" men took forever to bowl. Waiting for no one to be bowling around them, getting beer, watching sports on tv, whatever.
