This last Tuesday on our, (what I would call top gun league), lots of high average bowlers, we had 4 300 games, by four different bowlers! It was almost laughable... ITs a 4 game format, and every series we had a 300!!! Has anyone one else ever experienced 4 300 games on A LEAGUE NIGHT??? Wow My high game of the night was my first with a 258. But no cigar!! lol

interesting note, there are only 12 teams, two on a team! total of 24 bowlers! Even if it were 4 person teams it would be wild, that would be 48 bowlers,,, but,, BUT 24 bowlers and 4 300 games... we were all laughing and having a great time,,, God I love bowling!!! (:) On any given night????????

I had something as fun happen a few years ago in my league. We had both anchor bowlers in the same game shoot 300 against each other. One losing 312 to 302 by handicap.

Wow.... funny you say mention that!! When I bowled my 300 a month ago, it was a shoot out also!! Two person league, My wife and me against two other guys! I am the anchor on our team, and Jerry was their anchor!

He and I went head to head until the 10 frame, where he had a 10 pin leave, that he missed, I went on to throw all 12 strikes!! It was just like the shoot out at the OK-Coral!!!

Actually, it was FIVE 300 games. One young guy (around my age, 24) shot 2 in a row. The first time I have witnessed 2 in a row before, it was pretty cool. In all there were five 300 games and three 800's shot that night. I started with a 180, but shot 770 the next 3 games after that (yes it's a 4 game league, and all 3 of the 800's were the first 3 games).

To me, the shot didn't seem any different then what it had been. Just a heck of night for our league, which has at least 8-12 bowlers over 220 average, and 3 of us over 230. Just really good bowlers had a hot night I think.

yeah, it was his first three games... He shot 300, 300, 245 for an 845 series..

It will be fun to see if THIS Tuesday is anything like last Tuesday!!! LOL Will there be even one 300, or maybe 5 or more like last week! Will post the results later this evening! This will be interesting!! I started with a 268, and a 700 series on the money! Will it be a good Start again for me! tune in later!!

Not really, just a bunch of Top Guns from around the Kansas City area! Here we are noted for our Great Barbecue, Beautiful Women, and Bowlers!! Its a league with a good money for the winners, and a number of 230 and up bowlers! I would say the average is 225 for the league! It would be higher, but mine brings it down, lol,,, 200! But, I am a 64 year old, broken down X Iron Worker, Work in Progress, that does have ONE sanctioned 300! LOL

Last week 5 300s on Tuesday night! This week NOT-a-ONE!! What was it about last week??? MAGIC!!! I doubt I will ever witness that again in my life time!!

I know the mechanic that oils the lanes, and he said same old, same old each week!! Same pattern, nothing any different!

Yes judy,,, I had a lawyer friend of mine, that I went to high school with check them out! He said they were legal, and would stand up in a court of law!! :p

I don't ever recall more than one being announced on any given night. A few years ago the same bowler had a perfect game in league on Monday and repeated the feat Wednesday night.

That night Mr Anderson, ONE guy bowled two consecutive 300, along with all the others!!! It was CRAZY!! :confused: A night that I will NEVER FORGET!! All the joking, kidding, cutting up,,, it was a grand night!!

I've had 2 customers shoot 2 300's in a set Greg 258-300-300=858 and Curt 300-300-197=797 Crts back to back wre the first two games on a ball I just drilled him. Two weeks later he had 846 with the ball

POOR Curt!!! LOL What are the odds that your NOT GOING TO GET THAT coveted 800 after bowling a couple 300!!!??? Do you remember his scores when he bowled the fantastic 858?

Do you mind me asking what the magic ball was that gave Curt the 858, and the drilling layout you used. All of my balls are pin up over ring finger. The one I had my 300 with was the IQ Pearl, pin up just above the ring finger! What style of bowler was Curt! Cranker??

Can't say 4 or 5, but on more than one occasion, we've had 3 300 games announced in our local house. A few months ago, this one young guy tossed 4 perfect games in a 10 day span, with 3 different balls!! That's a feat that I think is just freakin' amazing!
