How many Bowlingboard.com bowlers, Bowl with THEIR Wife's/Husbands??

How many BowlingBoards.com members bowl with their Wife's on one or more leagues a week? I bowled 3 with mine last year,,, Sunday, Monday, and Thursday.
I enjoy bowling with her very much! Lot more fun, then most things we do together!!! LOL My wife was with me when I bowled that 300 a few months ago! It was an exciting moment.

As you might remember I was bowling a top gun, legion in his own mind bowler. He and I started out with strikes, the all the way to the 9 frame, he had a ten pin leave, and I kept going for the victory and 300!!! Damn,,, I still get goose bumps just thinking about that day!!!! The icing on the cake was that my wife did not LIKE THAT PERSON AT ALL. And even said on a couple occasions that she was going to deck-him!!!! lol lol

Bowling with mrs Iceman/manic is a BLAST!!! Get your wife's out there guys!!! It's a Cool Blast, Iceman!!!

My wife loves to bowl. We've bowled mixed leagues together in the past and have joined one this coming fall.

My wife bowled with me in a summer league last year. She became very frustrated over her lack of apparent progress. She doesn't have/won't take the time to practice outside the league which compounds the problem. At least until she retires, she will just be happy to go and bowl once or twice a year with friends. Preferably playing duckpins.

That's sad about the wife not being there for the 300s! Mine was, and it was SOOOOO Cool! Everyone was going crazy, the Iceman did it!!!! Then my wife come up to me with a small jigger of something clear, (looked like white lighting), but it was in reality butter scotch snopps! Remember it was with the butter scotch storm tour that I had the 300! NICE TOUCH!! Bowling with your wife can be intoxicating!! LOL

As most of you know The wife Bowls with Nomad, Chopper, and my self it's been great we won our First league this fri we might win our 2nd tie for first :/ The only thing that has sucked is we got our equipment in feb-march of this year she started in the 10-12 Lb range and has jumped up to 14 in the last 2-3 weeks so the cost to try and re build her arsenal is killing me Ha ha ha but it's worth it in the end :)

We did a 2 person have a ball league and took 2nd (no prize just bragging rights :)) and this fall we will be bowling together on a co-ed 'fun' league

Good for the BOTH of you!! Just remember, a Husband and Wife that bowl together, stay together!! (for better or worse! LOL) Can't break up the team!!! (:)

I meet my girlfriend the last year of high school and she has been bowling leagues both with and without since we have meet so like 7 years. She has made some great improvement in the last 3 years, placing top 5 or higher in the SF Womens City Tourny and even cashed in the Bowlers Journal Tourny that was going on along side the USBC Open in Reno. She's averaging around 170 now so we are going to bowl the sport shot league we have at our center. Its going to be great!!!

We had 3 people quit our team last year, so I finally convinced my wife to start bowling to help fill the gaps :). She's starting from scratch and still learning, but I'm looking forward to playing with her.

I know this might sound corny, coming from a Super Hero, but I enjoy bowing with my wife, much more then I do with Superman, Spiderman, or even Batman!
Manicwoman is only my second Wife, (not easy being married to a crime fighter super hero), but we just had our 10th wedding anniversary and enjoy each others company more now then even 10 minutes ago. We lived together two years before getting married, so its actually been a little over 12 years! Bowling is what keeps our marriage STRONG, Powerful, and Mighty!! Yes our life together, might EVEN be better then that 300 game! I can't imagine bowing without her by my side! (((( I get a huge kick out of seeing her bowl a good game, or series, much more then when I do it myself, maybe??)))) That gentleman ,,,,( getting tears in my super hero eyes,) is true love! A couple that BOWLS together, will have a bunch of FUN and happy memories!!

Mywife and I have bowled together most of our 39 years of marriage. When she first started out she threw a backup ball, Now she can hook it with the best of them. We have also bowled mixed leagues with out son (30) & Daughter (38). Right now we bowl the same night - same house just different leagues. We have not bowled on the same team for 3 years as the league folded. She was at bowling and keeping score (back in the day) when I shot 279-299-227=805. I think she was more excited than I was

I can't wait for my wife to get that first 600!!!!!! I would trade me ever getting a 800, just for her getting that 600 this fall!!

We will probably do same team of mixed on Wed, verdict still out on Trios though, since it's a matchpoint league, the idea of bowling against him at some point .. is...well... tantalizing :)

YOU SOUND like my wife!! lol She blew my socks off several weeks ago with a 247 game!! She is very competitive too,,, NOOOOOO,, NOT! LOL (:)
I know I ENJOY bowing with her! She started out a 140 bowler, then the next year 150s,,, then last year strong 160s,,,, I am thinking the way she looked this summer, 170 and a 600 series is not out of the question this fall!

My wife started bowling on this league in 1986 and I joined in 1987. So both of us have a lot of time on this league. So my wife has 27 years and I have 26 years on this league. That is a long time. I was only 40 years old when I started. YIKES! What happened? Time moves faster then I do these days. :cool:

That's REAL COOL.....*ICEMAN"!! I know I enjoy bowing with my wife very much, good, bad, or ugly, and she is that way with Me!! That's a lot of years!!

Good luck to the BOTH of you! Every once in a while, when she makes a GREAT shot, run up to her, caress her in your arms, dip her down toward the ground to where her hair almost touches, then up, and Kiss her! Then simple say, "Nice shot baby"!! My wife likes it better then a hand slap!!

I bowl with my wife on our Friday evening league....good fun and I'm pretty sure that she has grown to like it. We also tend to stay away from the typical "high five" good shot......tends to be a bit more 'adult' congratulations than usual :-)
