help me pick 2 new balls out of the list.

alright guys/gals i posted a thread up awhile ago for people to make suggestions on some new bowling balls for me and i wrote them all down and it ended up only being 4 that manly stood out to me and then i just threw in 2 more to make it 6 but there are 3 pearls, 3 solids.

so everyone vote for 1 pearl ball and 1 solid ball. thanks.

Solid:

1-storm IQ tour.

2-storm Marvel S.

3-Brunswivck meanstreak beatdown.



Pearl:

1-storm IQ tour pearl.

2-storm Hy-road pearl.

The IQ Tour Pearl is very popular in my sport league. I've also seen a few of the IQ Tour solids. Those would be my votes though I haven't thrown any of the candidates.

I am somewhat a Brunswick fanboy, but of those solids, the Meanstreak Beatdown has seemed to be a very awesome new release and looks very good against storm's stuff right now.

As for the pearl, the IQ tour pearl has been quite popular (know around here as "the Gold ball"). If you are looking into other pearls, I highly recommend the Radical Yeti. It is quite possibly the most versatile ball I've ever thrown. Drill it pin down and it revs hard in the midlane. Drill it pin up and it will skid and snap. I also have a MOtion hole drilling on a Yeti, and it destroys short sport oil patterns.

thanks ceknauss yeah i got the meanstreak brawler great ball i got a high rev rate 450+ and i was throwing it on a fresh ths and i was dropping it just 2 boards right of the left gutter pushing it out to the right gutter and it was still hitting the headpin hard and that was all with a sore wrist where i was not actually putting all my revs on the ball lol.

but my meanstreak brawler is a pin down so i'm probly going to drill the solid as a pin up and maby the pearl as maby off the the side or also pin up depends on what the proshop operator says that would be better for me.

I just got the wife the Hy-road pearl and its pin down under her ring finger hits hard and very accurate easy to read what it's going to do in oil and on dryer lanes she's loving it as a 1-2 punch with her Lucid.

That's going to be a lil harder as non that you listed I have any experience with. I want to try a Marvel S out as well but have also looked into the iq tour. One other option you can try is find a Roto Grip defiant it's been use time in and time out by some of The PBAs best players it's on it's way out but had a solid cover stock and the core is still used in the forth Defiant that just dropped so you know it's proven. Plus it will save you money as they don't make it any more ;). Try and match up your style and specks with video of others like your self to get and idea of how it will react with the set up your looking for.

and for all my other bowling balls they are in my signature of the ones i take to bowling and have at my house but the ones in my bag there are only 2 15lb balls the columbia 300 freeze and brunswick meanstreak brawler. the rest are 14lb and this vote for 1 solid and pearl are both going to be 15lbs to finish the arsenal.

I agree with storm1.... I bowled that 300 with the IQ pearl, (the golden one), and almost did another with the Beatdown the other day! Both balls react different, but work GREAT for Iceman!

moving up weight depends if i remember right u bowl on sport shots as well as house if thats the case i think strom iq for your heavy ball but for your other ball its not on list i would look for something inbetween your freeze and meanstreak ps i love the freeze as well great ball if you want to stick with strom

yeah thats why i picked a pearl and solid ball because i'm thinking of maby going pin up with the pearl to let it go down the lane abit more before it breaks because my meanstreak brawler is pin down but i throw at 17-19mph and have a high rev rate but my freeze is drilled pin down so it can work great on muti oil patterns like if the lanes are dryer i just stand abit left and if they have more oil i stand more right.

the video i posted was with my freeze on heavy oil it was my only 15lb at the time and i was throwing my 14lb balls too fast where they where not breaking right during practice but best line for a freeze is up the 10board on heavy oil but with me i can push out just abit past the 10 board.

your revs prob got about 50+ on me ;) lol or i might be able to keep up with you lol down and in baby lol with my hammer on a house shot i can do just about anything but my shatter is my baby the best ball ive ever owned to be 100% honest with you something u might wanna look at

yeah i use to throw hammer my first ever 300 i shot was with my hammer hawg but the following week after the 300 the ball returns destroyed my hammer hawg and it would cost more to fix it then get a new ball i use to throw all hammers.... black widow(x2) , black widow pearl, black widow bite, hawg, hawg wild and a few other that where my buddys that i threw and did very good with.

but then i wanted to try out other brands so thats what i am doing im going to try out storm this year then next year i will try rotogrip then another brand and then another brand.

i only got 56's in my english class but in grade 9 i did end up with a 72 but that was probably from not skipping school as much

yeah thanks i'm still trying to figure out how to get them drilled i got my brawler drilled pin down kicked out 45deg, and my freeze drilled pin down mb right in the middle of the hand
