And why?
for me its my storm crossroad
why? Because it was my first ball and its still the ball that i feel most comfortable with both throwing and reaction down the lane. Its also the ball that i get all my bowling milestones with like my first 200 game, 600 series, 700 series etc. Pretty much when everything else is wrong, this ball is always right. I never go to league without it!

A plastic 1981 brown AMF. Can't remember the make or pounds, but it was the first ball I ever owned. Had a brown matching vinyl bag also....I was a very happening dude in my high school league I must tell ya!

I would say all time I would have 2 balls. Number one is the black AMF Cobra (original) as I had 4 award scores and a PBA match play round with them. My second choice would be the Ballistik Kryptonite. It was the most versitile ball I ever had. It game me the abilaty to hit the pocket and score on almost any condition and line.

I would say my c-system versa max. Solid black ball I love it. Starting to throw DV8, so I might end up having a new favorite ball (:

I've only had it for a few weeks, but it's already my favorite ball I've ever played with. It's a 15lb Nomad Pearl I bought used from my buddy. I don't know if it's the layout (stronger than my other balls), the weight (15 instead of 14lb like my other balls), or just the ball itself, but that ball is a dream to throw. It sometimes feels like its got some kind of homing technology that guides it right to the pocket. The last two weeks I've been over 200 avg and had a few games over 240.

Faball Blue Hammer. Great ball, still useful and still works just like the day I bought it 20+ years ago.

For me in my short bowling sanctioned leagues, (two years) THE IQ PEARL by Storm! Gave me my first 300 first time out used in league!! Never bowled at all until I was 61,,,, then a seniors league for fun two years,,, then decided to give sanctioned leagues, due to the fact I had some really good scores in the unsanctioned leage... 270's,,, 290, 289s 298, but I am a Hot and average bowler! I now have a number of balls, but Jason, my good young friend said: " Iceman, get the IQ PEARL, and you will bowl that 300!
What do you know, I did at 64!! LOL..... I will NEVER LET THAT BALL GO!!!!!!!! It will be with me the rest of my life, and go with me in the next!! lol

My go to ball is the Columbia U-Turn. That ball has been the best for me and was used in each of my 7 honor scores. Very controllable and a very nice arc into the pocket, assuming I hit my mark :D.

I feel you there. I still use my dads amf angle urethane. My dad never cleaned or resurfaced it and it still works. Imo its nice using it as a change up of styles and strike lines
