Greater Tulsa Open Tournament

Anyone gonna be bowling the tournament? Starts up on October 12 through December 8. Each weekend are squads.

Should be a good time. Going with a couple team mates from my Nationals team.

What lane is it at in Tulsa we prob will not play but I might stop in and say hello as I live in Tulsa ;)

From what I understand the Team event will be at Andy B's and Doubles/Singles event will be at Broken Arrow. I've never been to Tulsa, so, no idea how those centers are.

Will let you know exactly which dates/times we are bowling.

Both are ok lanes Ba is a ill harder but you should do well. The pro shop at Ba is the one I use if you talk to Phill he's a great guy anything you need

Broken Arrow Lanes are quite nice, with the newer Brunswick gear. The lanes are dressed well too.

I only bowled at Andy B's once, so I can't really say. Their approaches are quite sticky though.

Had a great set at Andy B's for team event today, 772 with a 300 :cool:. Lanes are real nice. Good to hear Broken Arrow are nice too. Will be bowling doubles and singles there tomorrow at noon.

Thank you! Almost had another in the Singles event. Had the front 9 and then left a 4-7 to finish out with a 278 game. Last set of games was the worst I have had in a VERY long time(we are talking back to my teens bad).

My team dilly dallyed around and we never got entered in the tourney.
I am in a League at BA and that is my favorite house I have always had a higher average there over any other place in town. My worst house in town is AMF Sheridan which most people say is the easiest in town.

Phil has never drilled a ball for me last time I had a ball drilled at BA was a few years ago when Carl was there. I called Phil earlier today and I am gonna try him out on my next ball which will be next tuesday when the Ultimate league starts back up.

He is a great guy. Helped the wife out a ton when she first started. Now he fits our team for everything. Who do you use most of the time?

I believe I have used almost everyone in town Doug drilled my first ball
Tonya is always pretty good the last one she drilled I wasn't too happy with
Tracy has been doing everything lately He just recently took over the pro shop for himself He was the only pro shop manager that AMF had. Now he has worked out a deal to where he is leasing the Pro Shop.
I will never let Carl touch another one of my balls
I may give Phil one of my ball to bake when he drills this one for me.
