On the pair next to us tonight in our high average league, the young anchor bowler who bowls the Regional PBA tournaments bowled an 876!!!
First game a 300, with exception to 1 all flush pocket shots.
2nd game he started out with a double, then a 7 count and then went sheet for a 277.
3rd game he went the front 11 and left a stone 9 pin for a 299.
This kid, I say kid since he is like 18 years old is awesome to watch, he is a 2 handed bowler.
Wow, incredible bowling and I actually got to watch it all. That was the first 800 series I had the please of watching.
One guy on my team had a chance to get an 800 also, he had 256, 269 and then had some bad carrying shots and ended with a 218 for 743 series.

There's a kid like that out here in California too. I saw him on the internet, 2-handed...won a bunch of junior amateur matches and I saw he won a non-junior PBA event this year. He's a little asian kid...can't remember his name off the top of my head. I usually root against 2-handed bowlers...but this kid was impressive to watch...probably the same as the kid you saw.

Years ago I had the pleasure to bowl against Kenny Parks when he shot 888 289-300-299. It was the Indiana state record till Bob Kamer shot 900 2 years ago. I won 2 doubles that night with Kenny as I had 768

Wow,,,, YOU are THE MAN stormed1!! 768 not shabby at all!! I wonder what the odds are in numbers of bowling a 900 on league! When you think of all the oil changes, happening, with a couple teams bowling, then making those adjustments on the fly,,, for a 900! Wow,,, I wonder if they can even put a numeric value on that?????
Bowling a 900 on fresh oil, by yourself, would be next to impossible, but if Kenny Parks did it on league.... He is truly a Bowling God!

He was a solid 8 and a ringing 10 away from it. What made it more impressive is it was in 1993 throwing a Track Critical Mass.
Here some of his highlights
Won 2008 USBC Senior Masters…Second in 2008 PBA50 Tour points and money earnings…Had four top-10 finishes in 2011…Had best finish of seventh in 2012…Had best finish of sixth in 2013...Owns 12 PBA50 Regional titles.

The person you're thinking of is Wesley Low from Palmdale.

In this video, he is bowling with a "kid" I saw back in '95.
He was about 16 at that time. He was practicing after a league I was bowling in. I said at the time, this kid has a clue.
A few years later he shot the 3rd sanctioned 900 series.
And Vince posted a book average of 251 this season.

Yup...Wesley Low. Best 2-handed bowler I have ever seen. Amazing consistency from a style that is the least consistent style.

Yeah, Wesley. I've seen him around quite a bit. Kristin Dunn too at Fountain Bowl. She takes lessons from Mark. They are both fine bowlers and part of the future of the sport.
