View Full Version : DLP - fall season / left handed
Switching over to left handed the last few weeks. Still going a lot of adjustments with the ball. Eventually I'll end up with something that will work.
91/106/82
It's about the level I was after bowling for two months right handed. Not bad then for left handed, really.

Are you normally right handed? What made you switch hands?
Ended up with a compressed nerve in my back at the beginning of August. Most likely irritated by the right handed bowling thing. I worked with my chiropractor and the pro I go to... and made the decision that if I wanted to keep bowling (and not rest) I had to switch hands because I have a lot of muscle imbalance in my lower back due to prior injury.
Chiro gave me the clear (with some reluctance) to give it a go. Pro re-drilled a spare ball I had lying around. And after some minor thought, found that I was able to get the ball down the lane about the same I could (if not slightly better) than after I hurt my back.
I've been a leftie since Aug. 30th. :)

107 avg
Getting close to flipping over the threshold that my hdcp is lower than my avg :P
current league hdcp : 117
95/107/88
Haven't way to many issues with control of the ball. After a game or a game and a half it doesn't feel like I have anything in my hands. Moving up to 14 lbs in the next week or so. Should be interesting.
