Hey guys,

Fixing to buy a new bowling bag. Just wanted to see if you guys match your bag brand to the balls you have or do you just buy the bag that you like regardless of manufacturer?

I buy to last, I've had my ball carrier for years.

Look for durability and functionality and ease of use, I'd recommend mine but they don't make it anymore.

Mine is the Donkee Pro #4:

. I've had it maybe 8+ years, The top case for this has since gone (the plastic hinges wore out) and was replaced with a small storm bag

I have a 3 ball orange and black hammer carrier and a 3 ball red ebonite. I have 1 FaBall (Hammer brand) pink razor and no ebonite balls.

The thought has crossed my mined numerous times if I should match though.

Your not the only 1.

My opinion...until someone pays me to advertise for them, then I buy what I think fits my needs for the price I want to pay. My bowling balls are RotoGrip, Brunswick and Ebonite. I just recently bought an Elite 3 ball carrier and I love it. It is easy to maneuver and easy to load into the car or pickup. I would suggest that you look for BIG wheels on anything you buy. That seems to be the one complaint I hear the most about. If you want more info on the Elite, just ask. I'm not trying to sell that brand, just letting you know it works well for me.

Use an older Storm 4 ball roller and haven't ever had any Storm balls.

Agree with consensus....I have a decent 2-ball X-Strike bag...I don't think System X makes bowling balls.

The wife and I use the kd strikeforce bags as they are the same bags you would get from other Ball company's and are a bit cheaper. Never had a prob.

My current bowling balls match my bag but that will probably change on my next purchase. Unless your on staff or sponsored I don't see this as a big deal to match your equipment.

Bottom line: you get what you pay for in a bag. I've had matching/non-matching, etc. I wore out a single tote and a 2-ball roller in less than a season because it was cheap and I'm rough on them.

Bought the storm 3-ball rolling thunder and I LOVE it. Built like a truck and convenient as can be.
