I subscribed to Bowling This Month ($42.00) via internet last September 23rd. No magazine came to me so I called today to find out why. There is a recorded voice mail that say due to the economic situation, they are shutting down the magazine! I really enjoyed reading the articles they had on the web and so I subscribed. Wrong timing. :>(

I subscribed to the magazine in February of this year. At least I got a few of their magazines. Hate to see them go.

Very sad indeed.... population growing, yet bowling numbers are decreasing big! We need to make it revelant to they young, or I fear it might follow the path of the horse shoes!!
shoely not,,,, I hope.....(:)

I think there needs to be a boom in the bowling advertising world. I literally see NOTHING about events, products, etc. Unless I go to League nights/events or during ESPN bowling.

Slowinski has a bi-monthly letter now by subscription and plans to present articles similar to BTM magazine. I got the first one last month. If you are interested look for DYDS in Facebook.

They should have left pro bowling on free TV every Saturday afternoon on channel 7 by us anyway. I use to watch it all of the time. My parents watched it also. They could have advertised bowling equipment in the commercials. Now you see bowling only if you subscribe to
cable TV. Not everyone can afford that in this economy.

If so what channel is it on, and has it been on this season?? I had my DVR set up to copy the bowling last year, and its setting are still the same, but I haven't noticed any bowling being copied?

I have Time Warrner Cable,,, anyone know the channel and time? I guess I need to set up my DVR for a different time, (if its been broadcasting)?

First of the World series of Bowing events will be on ESPN December 1st. I don't know what channel number that would be for you.

I think there were a few tournaments broadcast this summer on CBS Sports, a network that we don't subscribe to.
