What is your highest game ever bowled during a league?

I know many of us have bowled a 300 during a bowling league, yet some of us have not. So what is the highest bowling score you have bowled during a league?

1st: 239
2nd: 180
3rd: 225
Series: 644
Avg: 151 at the time I rolled this, I was/am proud of this.

Shooting for 300/700 whichever I get to first I'm not picky.

Well, I've had 1 300 and 30+ games 279 and above. Strange thing is, the 300 was the worst of the bunch in terms of what a game should look like. Only about 7 or 8 even hit the pocket, LOL. I've had 2 289's where I drilled the pocket every shot, but would end up leaving solid 10's in the11th. I've yet to throw a decent 300. As for series, my highest is 747/8 (don't remember exactly). Never could roll real high series (have no idea how many 700's I've had, but lots of them), even when bowling strong.

If you were to check at the Bowlers Hall of Fame, you'll find my name posted somewhere on a wall (probably in the broom closet, LOL). I rolled the 300 during ABC's centennial year. Anyone that had a special game or series that year where put on a plack and posted somewhere.

290 - 11 in a row is the best sanctioned game I've had. I had 18 strikes in a row that night. I did have a 300 in a no-tap tournament. I threw 12 natural strikes. Great time to do it. I did win the tournament though.

I used to consider myself a jinx for anyone bowling 300 games...I swear they would do great until I'd start watching and then it would all fall apart, so I purposely quit watching! Then one of my friends rolled one while we were practicing so I decided maybe I wasn't a jinx! Then my other friend that I bowled in a Doubles league with this summer had one 300 game 13 years ago and in two weeks (bowling with me both times!) He rolled two 300s along with his first ever 800 series of I think 833. So now I think of myself as a good luck charm! :)

i would say a couple or about 3 years ago on my thursday night league i shot 10 in a row for a 289 game with a 698 series...last year i shot a 279 game i opened in the 1st frame i had too much hand in the ball and it went high thru the nose then off the sheet for 11 in a row ..this year 2 weeks ago on my thursday night league i shot yet another 279 game ,pocket 7 then 9 in a row then pocket 6 pin....so i have shot 250,s-260,s-270,s and that 289 but i haven,t been able to put all 12 together as of yet but it will happen before too much longer i hope..so 289 would be my highest thus far so like some has said whichever comes first the 300 or the 800 series cause i,ve already shot some 700,s ...........

300 - It was late in the season in a house that didn't give 300s easily. I think I was the 7th name up on the board, and there were only 9 bowled that season. You couldn't tell it was the same house that I bowl in now. There are 35 names up on the board, and none of them me.

Well I just started bowling again just for fun.. Last Sunday only bowled 2 games. First was 114, 2nd 163.. Used house ball..
Just bought an entry level ball, find out this weekend what happens.

The highest game ever bowled was a 195 in League play. We still lost the game. The next highest was a 185 (last week) we won that one and I was the highest scorer overall for the game. I was a good day since right now I am a 130 average bowler its a moving average but 130 is the highest average I had (no book average yet since this is my first year).

268 (front 8, left the 3-6 twice), but that was 18 years ago and in a different era...closest approach since I returned is a 265. My best set was last summer, 694. All in league play, of course. :)

I've had a few 289's throughout the years...

My first high game that was what I consider impressive was a 279 when I was 17 (3rd yr bowling) I was soo pumped!

high series is a 719 from just a few weeks ago. I typically have a rough night, then hit the big score towards the end of the night

My high league game was a 289 - tugged the eleventh shot a little and ended up tripping the 4 out of the 4-9 split.
High series was 726 -- shot against my buddy that runs the pro shop:) .

290 is mine. I can't even remember what I left in the first frame. It was towards the end of 2007 I believe.

My highest was a 255. I could have done better, but my sister-in-law got into a cat fight with a girl who was prettier than her and that screwed up my whole game! The last few frames I got up and threw it into the gutter just so I could get done fast (I was so rattled that I couldn't hit the pocket anyway). That was the second game of the night, and I left right afterward.

I thought my leg was gonna hurt and it did a little the first game, I guess that sharpend my concentration and I got my best game/series ever:)
