Hello all,

The title about sums it up, the previous few years I've average an east 192, and this year I'm at 174. I don't know what happened, I've tried everything I can think of to fix it, but nothing is working. I think my release is off, I believe I am cupped through my entire swing, and at the release which is causing me to release the ball of the side of my fingers instead of the front. My track is good, but my speed is only at about 14.7 (which it's always been at) and I have a lot of revs (about 450). This combinations make it so I can't get the ball out far enough to the right so I am leaving an unbelievable amount of splits. Has anybody had these issues before? And if so do they know of anyway to fix it? I'm ok with lifting it off the side of my fingers as long as I can get it out far enough. I also don't think I project the ball onto the lane enough, which causes the ball to read the lane really soon and thus over hook. I know that was a lot of information, but any hope at all will be great.

what ball are you using? Maybe it needs a re polish to get through the heads?

I have the Tank, Hyroad Pearl, and the 300a (drilled with the pin over the middle finger to create more skid)

Where are you playing on the lane? The center may have changed the shot and you may need to move in more to catch more oil

Practice, a lot. The mores games you get in, the better it will get.

Absolutely. While practicing, work on timing most of all. Getting timing right can cure so much in the game.

Approach, timing, targeting, ball reaction and entry into the pocket are all staples of what I work on while I practice.
