9 year old shoots 300

Just saw one of my friends posting a status about a 9-year-old girl in Florida shooting a 300. And here I am, a 20-year old boy with not even one under my belt. I feel ashamed and left out now. :((

i'm also 20 and i have not got a sanctioned 300 yet but i did pre bowl a 300 game back when i was 16 witch was my 2nd year of bowling.

but also my bowling style now is better and more accurate because when i shot my 300 game i got major lucky missing target to the right alot i was normaly putting the ball out to the 7 board and once and awhile it would go out to the 4 board and still hit the pocket.

See, at least us old losers have something to look forward to. Those kids are all tapped out before the age of 11.

I hope Iceman yells at them and tells them they need to bowl on a sport pattern. That would be awesome.

My daughter is two weeks old and if this is a trend then she'll be shooting 300 before me :(

Wow, that's incredible considering the ball had to be AT MOST 12 pounds, and even that would be heavy for a 9 year old I would think. I'm 24 now, and all of my sanctioned honor scores have come in the last year in a half or so (about when I started bowling again after a 5 year break). I did have a couple 300's I think around the age of 14 or 15 but they were in practice. Even though I never bowled when I was 9, I can't imagine being that young and bowling one considering how I started as a 150 average bowler at age 12 and progressed to about a 185 avg bowler before I quit at age 18. I wonder when that little guy started bowling? He probably has a very bright future ahead of him!
