Banned for life from this fine website, why???????????

Username was Geneo2u????? Why was my bowling buddy, banned from this site?????
He joined the other day, upon coming back to sign in it said HE WAS BANNED FOR LIFE!!

He is out of prison, and has paid his debt to society! He is sorry for what he did, and now has Jesus in his life!

All he wants to do is talk bowling! We bowl together on a team, and Gene is a damn good bowler!

LET GENE BACK ON!!! LET GENE BACK ON!!!

He just sent me an email, telling me that he wants to be a member, after serving 30 years in prison, most of it hard time in a private cell,,,, he needs companionship, and fellowship! Let Gene back on!!

It happened to me a few months ago when I joined. Emailed the site and fixed that afternoon.

Same here, it lets you sign up but then you can't actually post anything, and then a day or two later it says you are banned. Best to just contact the administrator, that's what I did.

Yes, been a problem for awhile. PM admin or Bowl1820 and he can correct it.

Also this was a support issue it should have been in the support forum, not the bowling forum.

It might be worth editing the vbulletin page or the first email sent to the user that they should contact you if they get banned immediatly. Should help lesson the confusion when trying to join.
