Hi, I'm Glen and I have addiction to buying bowling balls. :D I first bowled league in 1981 when I was 12. Didn't miss too many seasons until 1996, and after a lay off, am getting back into it. Life long metro Atlanta, GA resident.
My parents worked for the same employer, different offices, and met on the company bowling league. My wife & I met bowling...I actually met her parents first.
I was pretty good back in the day..I could pretty much fall out of bed & average 180. Despite winning a few 'pot' games here and there, I just couldn't seem to take the next step and become a competitive tournament bowler.
Anyway...I've picked up a few bowling balls from the local thrift store and eBay, trying to figure out what I can and can't do and then learning about the new technologies...the game has changed a bit since the mid 90's to say the least.
Anyway...I have some homework to do, so I'd better get started. I only 4 bowling balls, have given one away, and back in the day I rarely had fewer than 8.
