So most Sundays I bowl pot games with a few other guys. We always bowl 12 games. At first I didn't seem to have a shot. My ball, no matter which ball I threw, hit like a marshmallow. I was a single pin leaving machine. The ball would just not face up going into the pocket. I left a slew of 10 pins. At one point, I think in the third game I started with 7 straight single pins, most of them 10 pins. I had some decent games but I never had much of a look. I was maybe averaging 205 after 7 games.

Then I brought the heat....

The lanes were hooking more but I started moving right and further right with my Strike Zone. I brought my eyes in front of the dots and started throwing harder. The monitor said around 16.5 and I was playing the dry so probably about 19mph off my hand. The last three games I was playing outside first arrow and was at about the 1 to 3 board at the break point. I hung a couple off the edge but never ditched one. My ball reaction was completely angular. Once the ball made its turn it just headed straight for the pocket. I did leave some ringing ten pins. I'll bet I left 35 ten pins in 12 games and I picked up EVERY ONE. Wait, I missed one in the 2nd frame of the first game but that doesn't count. Other than that I had 9 opens that were all splits.

What I am most happy about was being able to play that line as a thumbless bowler, being accurate enough to keep the ball out of the ditch and being able to hold that line after 12 games. Our other right handed bowler was playing around 3rd arrow by the 12th game. This house is rare in that the shot can be attacked by two such drastically different lines. I had 248 the 12th game and struck out in the tenth. I believe I averaged around 218 for the day.

That can be an intimidating line to play for sure. Good job figuring it out!
