2 New Personal Bests Last Night

Well, I was not even wanting to go bowling last night but my wife drug me out to the bowling alley and boy am I glad I went. My highest game came 1st. I started the first game lined up where I did last time out and the ball snap hooked across the lane only knocking down five pins. Picked the spare up and adjusted for the Second frame. Left 3 standing, made the spare. Made my final adjustment for the night in the 3rd frame. Hit 8 strikes in a row. Left a 2-10 split in the tenth and only knocking down the 2 pin for a 264!!!!! Next two games were 214 and a lousy 173 due to not paying attention to my hand position on the ball. This was by far my highest series yet since I got back in to bowling a month ago. 651 series. New personal best here as well.

I know the feeling,,, NICE series anyway... You mentioned that 173 last game!! About 3 months ago I had a 300, then a lousy 216,,,, then last game, just like you 8 strikes in a role, thought I was going to get a 800 ring too, but ended up with a 264, just like you!

I am not sure which hurt more the 216,,, they were pocket hit 10s and 7s , bad carry, or the 3rd game with a great start of 8 strikes! I was hoping for two 300s, and a 800!

It was not to be... Bowling is a WHOLE bunch of What if's,,,,,, skill and some LUCK are always need, IMHA. LOL But then that's what keeps me coming back!

I had to sadly tell them none because I had only been back in to bowling for a month and had to wait for the summer leagues to come around.

Ha! Ha!. I don't know about that one Michael. I have a lot of improving still to do. I am normally bowling around 170-190. Last night could have just been a fluke lol. We shall see what the future holds.

It seems like that. The last couple of times my husband dragged me to the lanes I bowled really well.

i hate the third game also . few weeks ago i went 300 , 279 then was going ok till the 9th frame i left the big 4 and finished with a 212 , 791 , 1 split and 9 pins away from what would have been my first 800 , ,, great shooting just keep it up in the third game and u will be hittin 700's all the time
