This is a perfect example of less is more in a release that is done right. You might not be able to get it exactly right but you can strive to get as close as possible. This video shows that you don't have to go all the way around the ball to get good revs. Uncocking or uncupping after your thumb comes out is all you need to get revs and a good hook to the pocket. So you don't turn early try and keep your hand to the inside of the ball until the release area and try and keep your fingers a little below the equator of the ball.
If you can keep your hand to the inside of the ball as close to the release area as possible doing that will allow you do have a larger margin for error if you start to turn the ball early. If you are right behind the ball as you are reaching the release area you have a smaller margin of error if you start to turn early.
