The balls I have now are in my signature. The urethane has a 2000 Abralon dull surface and the reactive resin ball has a 4000 Abralon surface with slick polish. I was wondering how the pearl balls work on a THS pattern. What out of the box surface to they come out with? Do they require a lot of surface maintenance? Is the arc to the pocket on a THS pattern angular or a gradual arc to the pocket? Do surface changes work well on them? Who makes a good pearl ball? This is kind of a tricky question because it will depend on what brand you like. If you like Storm then Storm will have the good pearls. So if you have a pearl ball then name what you have and if you like it.

too general a question for about 40 percent of the balls on the market , but in general pearls will go longer and be more angular then solids

I have a storm byte and it's a pearl and I love it! Goes nice and long with one heck of a move on the back end. Very angular. I believe it's a 1500 grit polished pearl and works great on ths especially on the fresh. Once it breaks down your gonna have to make a good adjustment, at least for me lol. So I haveto say storm makes a good pear. Never owned a pewpearl till now and I love there reaction down lane :-) I also have a storm iq tour fusion which is also 1500 grit polished. Not Peral but has 10% - 12% more polish then a pearl and I love that ball also! Amazing on the fresh ths. 712 series otb first night using it!
As for maintenance I just use storms Reacta foam and it works great. Used to use simple green and alcohol mix 50/50mix. That works good too.

Right now my 3 go to balls on THS are both pearls (Tribal & deranged). In general pearls go longer and are more angular but that can be manipulated with layout and surface changes. I just drilled an IQ Tour Fusion (hybrid) and Beserk ((Hybrid) and I'm looking forwaed to throwing them. Right now my only solid is a Disturbed Ar 3K for heavier oil

to be honest only reason i shot it was cuz it was a house shot i was missing a lot wasnt making a lot of spares the ball is great tho its somthing for you to look into you dont need a high end ball for a house shot is dumb if u need a high end ball for a house shot you need to move right play more down and in + the higher end balls seem to die faster

If I knew what a THS actually was, I might help some as I have a Misfit Pearl. I just like to bowl, I don't know a lot of the lingo lol
That said a house shot? I don't know what that means. I just roll the way i do and when it's not working I move or change balls.

I dont get it what does a ball being overstocked have to do with anything other than the possibility of getting a good discount
