Got the urge to get a new ball. You guys know how that goes. It just came on sudden today. I shouldn't have gone to the bowlingball.com site to look at the balls and see what kind of mark downs they had. I kept going back to the Storm Lights Out ball. I was wondering if it would fit between the two balls that are in my signature. I will have to see what my pro shop guy thinks Monday. It would give me a chance to check out a Storm product.

Yes, it would fit, however I think that you need to settle on one ball weight. Switching between weights is a great way to destroy your timing.

I don't know if I am just used to it or what. When I bowl on league night sometimes I start with the 15lb Anger ball and use my 14lb Blue Hammer for certain spares. On other nights I will start with my Anger ball and maybe at the beginning of the 3rd game use my Blue Hammer 14lb ball as a strike ball and spare ball. For some reason it doesn't seem to throw me off. Maybe if I went from a 16lb to a 14lb ball it would matter more. If I get the Lights Out ball I think that it will be a 15lb ball. I stopped using my wrist support recently after using it for years and found out that my wrist can handle a 15lb ball without breaking back at the early part of the downswing. What helps is that I don't muscle the ball on the downswing and I stay on the inside of the ball leading the downswing with my ring finger until the beginning of the release area.

Went to the pro shop at our House and the price for the Lights Out with the drilling is $169.00. I think the drilling itself is $50.00 making the ball about $119.00. Not bad I guess. Read all of the reviews and it seems like this ball will fit nicely between my two balls in my Signature. I decided to get the Lights Out with a 14lb
weight. I figure at 67 years old that would be a better weight for me.
