Been on a really good streak lately, haven't averaged under 230 in the last 6 weeks. Tonight I'm feeling really good, hitting my marks better than ever, breakpoint is consistent, my release felt really good...but it's like there was some invisible 90mph wind downlane just taking the ball and pushing it high and low. Once it made the turn it just never hit the same place twice. Splits and leaves galore, squeaked out a 569.

Dunno if the machine spooged downlane, but both were similarly wonky. The only other guy on our pair with any kind of hook was a lefty and he was all over the lane, so all I can do is guess why the back end was so erratic. Ball changes didn't affect it, neither did moving 5 boards outside with a weaker ball...once the ball got to the breakpoint it was anyone's guess.

Last week on this same pair I bowled a clean 30 for a 724. This week, same ball, same line (to start) I couldn't splash the deck.

Damn! Just when I thought I had this game figured out. lol

Luckily, the Fat Tire was cold and understood my pain.

Not humid at all. And, the only other 2 bowlers on our pair (we were bowling a vacant team) were either throwing lefty or 5 boards from my line. Believe me, I'm familiar with having the pattern burned...but this was just me on my line watching crazy varied reactions downlane.

Still don't know...and last week on the same pair nothing remotely like this using the same equipment.

Maybe the guy that oiled the lane set the oiler wrong and the oil ended at 51 feet instead of 41 feet. You would need an asymmetric ball with a 180 grit Abralon surface matte finish to play this type of pattern.

the temp of the building humd levels how you feel that day how focused are you did the oil guy mess up? so many things come into play but atleast its a house shot so just throw it down 10 and watch go into the pocket lol
