2013-2014 League Champions!

Well we pulled it off. 1st half we barely won the roll off by 1 pin. Last night we did the roll off with 2nd half 1st place team and first game they were on fire rolling strike after strike. We were losing and losing bad. Made a surge around the 6th frame and won the game by 16 pins. Went on to win the 2nd game by 190 pins in steam roller fashion. We were not to be denied. First championship for this team in 20+ years on the league. BEDLAM definitely ensued. Ended up (despite multiple shots and beers after winning the 2nd game) taking all 7 points last night. I have now bowled on a league for 20 years and BY FAR this was the MOST FUN I have ever had bowling.

On a league for 20 years - well I guess if you get technical 20 years minus the 4 I took off due to economic reasons (losing 35% of your income due to the 2008 horrible economy will do that - eat or bowl? easy answer).

And yes it is my good "clean" living that keeps me looking and feeling young, lol.

Thanks Blacksox. Really great time I am on. Even the former team members show up on occasion to cheer us on. Tuesday we had 15 people there for the championship. It was really cool.
