After talking about the problems the PBA is experiencing I'm curious about how many people on this site have an Xtra Frame membership. This is something I do not have and am slightly interested in getting at some point. Also, does xtra frame have any additional features other than tournament coverage...videos by coaches, other analysis, etc.?

Excuse the ignorance: What's an Xtra Frame membership?

I haven't purchased it. It's on my "nice to have" list.

I have it, as I can write it off as a business expense.

Mike, if not a business expense would you find it worth paying for?

Worth is highly subjective.

If you really like to watch bowling, and have a good internet feed, then yes probably.

It's not only live, they archive the feeds, so you can go back and watch things you missed.

I don't have an Xtra Frame membership, but I have Comcast On Demand service and I can watch most of the PBA events pretty easily. Not sure if I would need to have Xtra Frame, but I guess you can also put me on board as listing it as a 'nice to have, but don't really need.'

It's another one of those things I'd probably have if I were still single :), along with NBA league pass and other stuff like that. I just don't have time to watch it enough to make it worth it. The only pay streaming service I use is the NFL gamepass, and even that I don't watch as much as I used to. The only person I know of around here that has it is the guy who runs one of the pro shops (maybe he's in the same boat as Mike).

I also am in the "would be nice" to have group but currently do not...

Wait. A guy in Europe cares about something other than soccer?? Did somebody hack Hampe's account!??

I've considered getting it a few times but the wife has told me in no uncertain terms she woudl prefer I don't

I have a etndency to watch bowling vids on youtube anyway so she is concerned if I have access to all the archives that I will be watching too much bowling.

If you are a bowler, xtra frame is a must. For example: the usbc senior masters just finished up and there were around 50 hours of coverage between qualifying and match play.

Very smart Girl you have there. I got a subscription for my hubby and hardly saw him for the first 3 months.

There's plenty on USBC's Bowltv. They live stream too. We google chromecast to the big screen.

All good.

I have one but when the seasons over I cancel the membership and then redo it once season starts again. Just sucks that I have to wait a week after the actual tv show for it to go on xtraframe

Xtra Frame started coverage of the PBA 50 Dayton classic today. Anyone watching or following that? Xtra Frame is a heck of a deal if you like watching bowling.

Everyone should subscribe to xtra frame, it is only 65.00 a year and you can do it monthly also for around 7.00. There are 1,000's of hours of coverage and it is all archived so you don't have to watch it live. You can learn so much from watching the qualifying squads and really see some of the players in a different light as well. Help out the PBA when you can.

I hadn't renewed our subscription because my husband was watching soooooo much bowling. I know he'd love to watch all the pba50 coverage so I went ahead and renewed today.

I just texted him letting him know. He replied, "Wow! Thanks! See you in three months."

LOL!! Funny guy!!

I have it, I enjoy it since it has all of the tournaments archived along with the pba events that were televised. If you do subscribe and know you will be using it for a year go for the $65 if you go monthly you are paying another $30 roughly.
