It looks like it'd make a nice second ball, but probably not a primary one, given the length and the reactivity. Still... a free ball is a free ball, and the LT-48 is no slouch.

I don't disbelieve you; but the length and hook as shown in the diagram on the Brunswick web page is crazy: Straight, long, and a sharp left turn at the last second.
