Well now that I've won the new ball I guess I am going to need a new bag. I have a KR 3 ball roller but with I've been keeping the wife's ball in with mine and I'm adding the spare ball going to need something new for her. Here I come bowlingball.com. Anybody have any suggestions on bags? looking at 2 or three ball rollers.

Well, if you're going to continue to share a bag with the wife, you might need to go to a 4-ball stackable. Those you can get in the $140-$165 range if you get a decent deal on Ebay. They will run $170 and up pro shops and most other online stores.

3-ball rollers are the standard right now and there are tons of good ones. Not sure the prices...you can probably get them from $79-$299 depending on where you buy them. I've heard Hammer and Pyramid and Storm make good 3-ball rollers.

6-ball rollers are quite pricey. I was thinking of getting one but it's hard to find a deal on those. And brand new they run in the $225-$300 range.

2-ball rollers are cheap. And there's a lot of them out there for sale because generally people buy them and soon upgrade to 3-ball rollers and dump their 2-ball rollers for a loss.

Why not??

I actually just bought a 4-ball roller and really wanted the Hammer. It had tons of pockets.

But, they kept going for over $160 which was out of my range. Looked like a nice bag.

I ended up with a Ebonite Grand Tour IV. Would have preferred the Hammer or Columbia but whatever. It's definitely an upgrade over my current shoulder bag so I'm happy. No more carrying 2 bags to the alley and finally something with wheels.

I'm going to need a bag for my growing lot of balls. Thinking of a 3-ball roller, myself. The Pyramids look good -- and they're inexpensive.

They have special on the three roller with a 2 ball tote for $94 thinking about that one

All I can say is BIG WHEELS. No matter what size; 2, 3 or 4 ball, or what brand, be sure to get BIG wheels. I have had several two and three ball bags, as well as friends, and the consensus is the bigger the wheel, the better they pull, turn and maneuver. I would say go with 5", 4" is ok, but never go below that.

I recently (about a year) added a 3-ball Elite bag (because that's the only one I could find in the color I wanted) and I truly love it. Two balls plus the spare ball and most times I am good to go for league. I added a little one ball tote that attaches to the top via Velcro around the handle and that works for taking one more ball if needed. Easy to load in and out of car and no issue of having to stack and unstack bags.

I agree 100% with classygranny. I have a kr 3 ball roller and a 4 ball hammer roller. I like them both.

Congrats on winning a ball, ameyers. Also, belated congrats to rvdriver, for winning while I was on vacation.

I know I like my bag a lot! VERY easy to take apart, and load in the car trunk. even easier then the three ball bag, due to the fact you are on lifting two balls at a time. Takes me about 3 seconds to load, I just lift the whole bag without taking it apart... Its under 100lbs... but you can easily take them apart, two clips, and its ready to load two at a time... might take 15 seconds??

3 strong wheels,,, lot's of pockets,,, and pulls easy. I do wish the handle was a little longer, I am 6-2,,, and its a little short for me, but not bad at all.

Purchase it from bowlingball.com.... best price anywhere, and quick delivery!! GET IT,,,, You will be up to 6 balls in no time! Why bring 4 to the lanes, when you can bring 6!!

Thanks! I have had several bags,,, started out with a double, then triple, but wow,,, this baby has pockets, and lots of room for my size 13 shoes.
VERY EASY TO load and unload Amyers.... GET YOU ONE!!

Its great to have a huge selection of balls to chose from on a given night!

That new ball would look sweet in that bag.... mine is blue, they have silver, and I believe red now!

I have a feeling I'll someday regret going with a 4-ball versus a 6-ball. But man…6-ball bags are pricey… > $179.99. Yowser!

Financial reasons aside, this is the main reason why I have hesitated buying a new bag - once I'm working again and settled with wherever I live my first purchase will be a plastic spare ball bringing my total to three balls, and I have my eye on something that sits in between my Ebonite Cyclone and Brunswick Aura so that in turn would bring my total to four.

I also plan to continue on in PBA experience leagues, so if nothing else I expect I'll expand past the four balls by the end of this year, or sometime next year so it almost makes sense to just go for the 6 ball bag and only using four spots until time to expand to six balls.

But first things first, need to rejoin the workforce but at least I can look around for now and see what looks good.

Yeah that's a lot of money I paid 65 for my three ball roller but I can see you get what you pay for. Luckily I have kids so I can just make them drag the extra bags around

A lot of body parts can be toted away in that bag...

from when you've destroyed the other league team with your bowling prowess, that is.

Sounds like your getting the point actually I have to argue with them over the dishes and we have a dishwasher. I've threatened to make them do them by hand.

Yes I know I use to have the Colombia 3 ball bag, then a extra single ball bag on the handle, for a total of 4 balls. It was a nice bag, but NOTHING LIKE the Storm 6 bagger. SO FRICKEN easy and quick to disassemble and load for the lifting impaired. Reduces to double bags for loading.
I can't imagine ever having a better set up. ICEMAN might even say,,,, COOL!!

ANOTHER GREAT FEATURE, you don't have to disassembly it to get to your balls at the alley. Each of the 3 bags has access without the need to disassembly. Great engineering and thought went into the layout of this fantastic bag. I believe it comes with a 3 year warranty... I have not had any problems with mine!

That looks like quite a bit to carry, Ice boss ;p at least 90 pounds of balls in that. I can't imagine myself getting a 6 ball roller ;p
