Have been on vacation the last 2 weeks. First part of the vacation was home in Albuquerque and was able to bring some balls with me to get some practice in.

I present to you a video of some shots with some work I have been putting in after my coaching session with Susie back on Father's Day.

One thing I notice from this video compared to my prior video's if you watch them, is my center of gravity had been changed. One thing Susie and I worked on in the session it to get my center "belly button" over the right knee in the stance and have it over my left knee upon delivery. You will notice my slide leg is right of where I typically would have it which has led me to have better balance at the line. I am able to post my shots without falling off as much as I used to. I still do as I am working to perfect it, but it is so much improved. Also, the little movements of my feet when I do deliver the ball to maintain my balance is improving.

You have a nice looking game. I don't think any of us can ever be satisfied that is why we keep working on things. Looks good though man.

Are you on a THS pattern and what kind of ball are you using? I noticed on your swing with stop action before the ball leaves your hand it looks like you have close to a 90 degree rotation on the ball, kind of a suitcase release. Did you ever try having maybe a 30 degree or 45 degree release? Your swing looks good though and it looks like you were knocking the pins down pretty good also. Did Susie ever say anything about your rotation on the ball?

Hammer,
Was on THS with a couple different balls. Susie and I did talk about releases and we will work on that our next session. She said the way I come around the ball is not necessarily bad as in the way PDW does it, but not what we want for all types of conditions. Excited to dive into that in August when we meet again.

My axis rotation is right at about 55-60 degrees. Measured with tape on ball from PAP to the pin and then overlaying a graph onto the image to get tilt and rotation .
