i got given an original blue hammer in 16lbs a few months ago with 1 drill on it 0 re surfaces and almost mint condition coverstock. is it worth keeping? selling or drilling up for myself? read that these are quite rare especially in this condition so wanted to see what you guys think?

I looked on ebay and it looks like drilled ones go for around 50.00. I would drill it up and use for really dry conditions or polish it for a spare ball.

These were not bad balls I still have one and there are still quite a few floating around in my leagues. There are two types of these is it the pearl version or the sanded? These are still good for short or low oil conditions especially if your a little on the rev dominate side. I would drill it up and resurface it.

The Blue Hammer was a popular and good ball back in the day. Norm Duke was well known for using one back then.

It would still be a good urethane ball today, I think I'd give it a try with the Pba plastic ball layout.

Brett Wolfe won the 2002 masters with one. He lives in in the phoenix area and when a tournament shot dictates it he uses one and pretty much it is lights out that day. But that can be said with any ball most every day with him.
