came across this video and to me its pretty interesting how just elbow placement can make such a big difference. I've being taught to have the traditional form of tucking in my elbow and extending my arm (similar to marshall kent/bill o neil), but comparing it to the modern game of having the elbow in front of you (weber/fagan) it looks like theres things that are constantly changing. Lets hear your thoughts

Interesting video. It seems like it's very similar to Joe Slowinski's DYDS approach.

It stands to reason you can't be behind the ball if the elbow is outside of the wrist. Been working on that with the new ball i can't say I'm producing anymore revs with it but it does help project the ball to the right for me at least

A technique that I use with some students is to imagine an eye in the middle of the inside of your elbow. The eye should remain on the intended line until after the ball is released. It should never be looking two lanes to the left.

What fricken eye in the elbow?? If you wear long sleeve shirts, do we need to cut a hole where the 3 eye is located?? I just went to the bath room, and sure enough there it was!!

Sounded like him and very similar methods to what I've seen him teach elsewhere.

I know he preaches that back up drill to get ur elbow tucked in. I can throw a backup ball. but cant switch over to a normal strike ball at the end. anybody got ideas of a way to accomplish this
