Everyone has a different philosophy about arsenals. I was just interested in hearing a few new ones to broaden my horizons.

Building an arsenal all depends on what you want it to do. If you are bowling in one center, your arsenal will be different than if you are bowling in multiple centers. If you want an arsenal so that you can keep from moving in, then it will be different from one to compliment moving in. Check out Bowling This Month Magazine (online). I just wrote an article on this very subject. Rates are very reasonable for what you get.

in every arsenal i have created and used on a THS in the past i always try to have one skid-flip, one smooth hook (banana shape), and something designed for very dry lanes, usually urethane. i don't like pulling around 6 balls every where but i usually just pull my 3 bagger and often times have one odd ball with me just in case

And what contingency, pray tell, does Aslan take care of for you? ;-)

hahahaha i meant that i carry in one ball with me that is overly different than what's in the bag. usually it is an experiment ball just to see how it will roll in practice and sometime i don't even take it.

I liked the Aslan implication better.
