Bowled for the first time on super dry lanes. Saw a lefty hook it from the right gutter all the way to the left gutter only to end up in the right gutter 10 feet before it could have hit the head pin. My DV8 Marauder Mutiny wanted to start turning left at 40 feet and keep going. I spent two games trying to miss the head pin on the right side and only hit light once. Chalk it up to a learning experience with my new ball.

Another good reason to have a plastic spare ball

I have a blue pearl Hammer I picked up in 1987 that I am going to convert into a spare ball if I can find where it ended up in the basement. It would have worked well tonight

I used to have a blue pearl hammer was my favorite ball for years.

I throw a storm polar ice urethane for my spare ball drilled to not hook. Works great as a strike ball on dry conditions when the center has not oiled in a day or so to save money.

@circlecity, which lanes do you bowl at Ebonite's Galaxy Lanes
or Fun Time Bowling II or Franklin Lanes or do you go all the way
up into Nashville to bowl?

Franklin Lanes for the most part. You in the area?

Yeah I'm about 70+ or so miles east of you over in McMinnville or as most
people call it McNothing-to-do-ville among other choice names that I can't
post on here. LOL!!!

I used to go over and bowl quit often at Franklin lanes back many years
ago even bowled a few tournaments over there but I haven't been back
there since back in the late 90's. Is the center still located in the same
place way back off of highway 96 on Lakeview Dr off of Royal Oaks Blvd?

One reliable reason to have a spare ball. Once in practice, I remember bowling on completely stripped lanes, and uhh wasn't very fun lol cause the guy there didn't realize they were stripped before he assigned the lanes to us. but uhh tried throwing it as hard and straight as I could, and I was actually fortunate to get a few marks, and not to mention I ended up having the highest score out of the everyone else somehow lol and I think i was the only one to break 100, if I'm not mistaken ;p
