Anyone have Storm's Hy-Road Solid? What do you think of it?

I'm getting one drilled up monday. I will post after i throw it a few games. This is a control type of ball though, not something that is going to create a sharp type of motion.

Blomer, I actually decided you get a iq tour solid instead of the hy road solid. Don't know if interested in this one but it rolls really strong and can handle most any oily condition short of the longest patterns. I have to really keep this one in the oil line but has a strong but controllable motion when it hits friction down lane. But this isn't a ball to really swing a lot you have to keep your angles pretty closed down. The thing hits like a truck though.

What made you decide on the tour over the hyroad? I've seen a few of the solids around and a lot of the fusions never seen anyone throw the solid much though. Always seemed that most of the guys I talked to preferred it for sport patterns.

I had the first hyroad and i am probably one of the few that didn't love it. I thought i would give the solid a try because i prefer a duller surface ball when i can use it. I bought the iq tour pearl a while back and liked the even motion that had so i thought i would stick with a weight block i liked. I swear buying bowling balls seems like high stakes gambling sometimes with the cost of these things.

You have definitely got that right. It's a gamble every time
