Introducing the new Storm Crux bowling ball! The Crux is the newest addition to the Storm Premier line of bowling balls and features the all new, asymmetric Catalyst Core. Storm has paired that with the ERG Hybrid reactive coverstock in order to produce a reaction that is different from any other Storm bowling ball to date.
Finished at 3000 grit, the Crux will have good length and then the core will kick in. You will see a greater amount of entry angle than any ball Storm has ever created. The hybrid ERG coverstock will keep the ball from being uncontrollable and all but eliminate over/under type reactions.
The Storm Crux is angular, versatile and very aggressive. This is a new release to be excited about! The Crux releases on 10/14/14!

My wife has been wanting this one I wouldn't mind trying it out. They are having a demo at a local alley next Friday. I'm hoping they will have one I'll let everyone know what I think of it if they do.

who cares? What does it smell like??
And WHY doesn't Storm give me a ball to test out against Iceman in Vegas??
If Storm doesnt start treating me better, I'm gonna be forced to either join Team Brunswick or Team Columbia when I go pro. Sorry! Granted, Team Brunswick might be bought by somebody by then...but STILL! TREAT ME BETTER!!

I'm thinking that Team Storm is waiting for you to earn better treatment.
As this point you're not even at the retail customer level.

I could see Storm offering Aslan other brands equipment if he promises not to throw theirs though. Think how good it would be for Storms business if Aslan was throwing exclusively DV8 or Motiv. I guess we could call this the Anti-staffer program.

OUCH.... does Iceman detect some (lesions between the two of you)? NOT GOOD with the Big Bowl off just days away!
Rob and Ice are harmonious! Ready to do battle!
I will be ordering one of these next month for sure.... My wife also wants one.....

Certainly a ball worthy enough to be entered in weekly contests, after it's released

Well, you know how it goes. If they wait till I'm at the height of my awesomeness…then the price goes up. They could get me on the cheap now.

Because the biggest myth in bowling…well, not the biggest…but easily Top 10 is that Storm is a far superior bowling ball manufacturer.
I'm not saying they don't make good stuff…maybe even slightly better than the competition. But just because they make a bowling ball smell like a cupcake doesn't make their products superior.
Granted, I WILL retract that statement should they come to their senses and sponsor me in the Aslan/Iceman Challenge.

This statement fact checked by the folks over at the "WMDs are Definitely in Iraq Search Team"

Anyway - a new core, and the first ever hybrid coverstock in the premium line for Storm.
I'm really tempted, very happy with my Ruckus Feud and not a lot of room for a hybrid in my arsenal right now, but really interested nonetheless.
Been averaging about 220 after five weeks with that ruckus feud though...probably not going to go changing much from that, but who knows.

got mine yesterday, bowled 3 games with it after getting, my god its strong! lanes were oiled about 5 mins before i got on them with easy street. i was standing in the left gutter getting it out to 3rd board at the break point on the fresh oil its insane!
in the 3 games i had 2 4 baggers a 6 bagger and an 8 bagger. when it hits the pocket it rarely leaves any standing, i left 1 stone 8 because it just carried on and didnt burn up.
awesome ball :D

I have this ball and love it works very well with my high speed and low rev style.

One of our medium speed low rev players had a Crux drilled up
this past Thursday and first game he bowled with it in practice
was a 300. Then when league started I believe he finished the
night with a 790 something series and a 289 game and a couple
of around 250 games so I might just consider getting myself one
of them next month.

Guy in my league had to get his replaced, as it cracked between the fingers on the first night he used it. The guarantee was honored and his dad owns the pro shop so he got it drilled and into play the next week.

Just the latest shiny and new ball for everybody to go drop cash on. The Crux seems to be replacing the hyper cell at my alley. Then next month a new shiny ball will replace that etc...

Same in our house. Guy I bowl with on Tuesday nights had just gotten the Optimus late summer, but had to have the Crux because it had such a different look on the lanes. He is a low rev, up the 10 board bowler with a 185 average only bowling on house shots, not tournaments etc. The ball maybe moves 1 board more for him with his style, but the placebo effect never ceases to amaze me.

I LIKE THAT vdubtx!!! Placebo effect...LOL..LOL I am a firm believer that their is NO MAGIC BALL! A good bowler can make ANY ball look good.
Case in point my friend Jason! He can, pick up any ball that his finger will slide into and bowl one hell of a game! HOW??? He makes adjustments! He ask to roll one of mine a few years ago: (my span and holes way to big for his had), and rolled a 255.)
Selling balls and the placebo effect,,, would be a good research study for Aslan!!!
