Finally had a decent night. Three opens, all on splits. Never missed a ten pin, or any spare. Shot 630, which isn't great but after shooting 748 I went four solid weeks shooting under average. Icing on the cake was being a position round and we went 5-2 against the #5 seed. It was close all night long too.

Slumps happen to everyone from time to time. I have been up and down all year and the key is to just minimize the damage as much as possible on those off nights. Maybe back to another 700 next week for you hopefully!

Way to Go. Always feels good coming out of a slump. Just have to power through and learn what it was that caused the slump. Practice always helps me power through. Getting back to basics.

Just missed my second 700 with a 694. Missed one spare and had one open on a split . Just missed 300 number two- ended up with a 276 game. Other games were over 200, but just by making my spares.

Replaced my finger grips for the fourth time this year, plus had the thumb plugged and slugged and redrilled with a little different pitch to it, and much much tighter . The new grips are tighter than I've ever tried. Put them in just before league started and it took 5 frames to get used to them. Once I did I shot the 276, then my carry went south but I kept my spares clean to finish the third game.
