I don't normally have this issue, but for whatever reason in league yesterday, I felt like I could not hold onto and release my bowling ball properly due to sweaty hands. I tried using my rosin bag, wiping my hands off on my bowling towel, washing my hands, and nothing seemed to help. My team was in 10th place out of 12 to start the night and we were playing the team tied for first. Luckily my teammates kept us close enough for us to destroy them in the first, and as the anchor I was able to get 27 pins in the 10th frame of the second game to win us the game by 1 pin, and then 28 pins in the 10th of the third game to help us win by 17. We took the match 7-0, but I digress. What are some things people do when they have issues with sweaty hands? I felt bad I didn't play up to at least my average, but I'm glad I could close out the 2nd and 3rd games. I don't want to put so much pressure on my teammates again.

I have used various things as I also have sweaty hands sometimes. Usually I am fine with just the air blower before every ball. Have also used A product called Grip-Eze from bowlingbutler.com. Worked ok, just didn't care for the scent of the product.

I have the Grip-Eze from bowlingbutler.com also. I like it because it doesn't leave the powdery residue and dry your skin out.
The scent was a bit odd, but it has dissipated after quite awhile (I've had mine for 2 years now and it still works good).

I never tried the wiping the oil from the ball with it, they said it could do.

Now they have changed it since I got mine (for free as a tester), a different type of cloth and scents.

Thanks, I'll have to try this out. Much appreciated!

I might be wrong but I think I have seen a grip paste in the pro shop I don't know it that would help but it's worth looking into. I had like 5 grip royal grip sacks at one time (kept winning them in twitter contest) they always worked for me.

I used to get sweaty hands, to the point I went to a dermatologist. I ordered this product in which you fill with water and lay you palms in and it would give a low electric shock. Lol. It actually worked. But I usually just use one of the resin balls. Can find them at any pro shop. I got the large, cost about $8 and it does the trick. I even have a smaller one that I use if I go on interviews and I'm nervous.
