Hello everyone,

In a continuous effort to get our name out to the Bowling World, we would like to ask where you heard about us?

Maybe a bowling friend, league member, search engine, social network, or other outlet. How ever you found our great Bowling Forum / Message Boards community, please let us know.

Also if you work at a Pro Shop, Center, or know of where we can Advertise or promote BowlingBoards.com, please let us know.

Why do we strive to get our name out? Because we are different than so many other bowling sites abd we want the Bowling World to know who we are.

Thanks for all of your help.

I got an e mail invitation, if I recall correctly. Must have come via some other bowling site, I visit several. This one seemed to be the best of the lot, so I stuck around. The rest is history yet to be written.

Oh, how did I find it? I went north and turned left at Greenland. ;)

Attending the Pro-Am and Tournament of Champions at Red Rock Lanes here in Las Vegas. I spoke with "OnefromBills." He suggested your site as a place where community and knowledge can share the same ground. If he represents a sample of people here, then I know I am in great company.

Thanks for replying. I believe in every member on this site. We may not be the fastest growing bowling site in history, yet the people who find BowlingBoards.com, are people who truly love bowling and that overflows into their posts.

With each member you will see and read their passion for bowling.

I thank Onefrombills for representing us outside these forums.

And I thank you TrueBowler for letting us know your story.

Hi all, My name is Dawn, from Ohio, guess you can say, I was born and raised in bowling alley's. My parents have always bowled and dad still is, I actually bowl with him on a mixed couples league at Park Centre Lanes in Canton, Ohio. I ended the season in the 150s. I love Bowling, I just don't have the financial means to bowl as much as I would like. Actually, one of the bowlers on our team is paying my way, this is the 2nd year in a row for him paying, his wife had to quit due to her job. My father is a bowling ball "hoarder", he buys new bowling balls every couple of months. But, what I really would looove is for my son to get to meet Pete Weber and get some lessons from him or another professional bowler, but pro bono, of course. My son is 14yrs old and has Aspberger's Syndrome, he loves watching the PBA, mostly Pete Weber and Walter Ray, but he idolizes Pete, by wearing a glove, sunglasses and he swings his arm when he bowls way high back. I can't even put him on a league, which he would love, because I can't afford it. Every year we receive these coupons called FSS, Family Support Services program coupons through our county's MRDD office, well, this year I used them to buy the closest thing to a real bowling lane for him, it's a 30ft long carpet with the lines, arrows, and pin placement circles, came with the pins, scoresheet ball and a backdrop, he loves it, he just received it, so, he's been on it constantly. What was really cute, was for the first time today, he is even trying to dress like Pete Weber, he actually cut out pictures of proucts, as the sponsors, taped them to his shirt and labels that he wrote names on, such as, Storm, and other sponsor names. Please help me to help my son if anyone knows Pete Weber or someone in the PBA, thank you.

My Wife and I went bowling for the first time in 25 years, and we were disgusted with the house balls, weight, condition, finger hole sizes and placement..... blah, blah blah.
And we were looking for instructions on how to hold, approach, stance and delivery to jog our memories since our games weren't what they once were.

We went to YouTube and came across many instructional videos and I came across Talk Bowling and they referred listeners to this Forum.

And I have been hooked since, reading and learning and some posting.
