I'm a little behind here, but I'd like to post this as I've seen others post their scores as well. I bowled in my first bowling league over the summer and ended up with a 163 average through 36 games. I just started using a finger tip drilled bowling ball back in February after a 4 year hiatus from recreational bowling. I owned a Brunswick Zone ball that I bought in 2000 but I never really was serious about it. Anyways, here are my scores dating back to September 15, 2014.
09/15/2014: 169 145 158
09/22/2014: 187 189 154
09/29/2014: 207 174 158
10/06/2014: 149 135 149 (Wow, what a letdown from the previous week...)
10/13/2014: 157 138 199
10/20/2014: 189 172 191
10/24/2014: 149 222 203 (I started to figure a few things out...)
11/03/2014: 214 160 146
11/10/2014: 193 227 176 (I missed out on my 2nd 600 series in sanctioned play, and first in this league by 4 pins!)
11/17/2014: 197 219 198 (I wasn't about to miss it for a 2nd straight week. 614 series!)
11/24/2014: 157 191 193 (Another letdown. This week hit a nerve though, as none of the other bowlers besides my teammates seemed to care about my 614 last week. They probably thought it was a fluke or something)
12/01/2014: 192 142 169 (Started strong but finished poorly. More anger but I'm learning to channel that to success)
12/08/2014: 204 222 209 (Boom! Highest series I've bowled ever! I missed a 4 pin in the 10th frame of the 1st game that I feel could've help my team win the series 7-0, and I missed another spare in the 3rd game that really angered me. I was upset with myself that we only won 5-2, and I put that pressure on me as the anchor of our team, but my teammate reminded me that I currently now hold the series high for the season in our league, and my team now sits in 1st place.)
I'll continue to post scores and hope I continue to make progress.
