These are the approximate lines every one played on our pair of lanes on last nights league.
My line is the dark green one, Now I shot a 176-221-179=576, 5 opens. I used the Bad A$$ the first game and the DV8 Dude the rest.
The lefty (Black line) shot a 697, series for the right side were less than mine. With most scores dropping in the last game

Are there a lot of lefties in your league? The main bowling league I'm in on Mondays has 3 total out of 8 teams. 1 Lefty on my team and 2 more on the team we just beat this past Monday. I would love to experience just for once how it feels to be the only righty bowling on fresh oil during league lol

We have two or three in our league one of them is on out team. It must be nice to not have everyone eating up your line ha ha ha.

My Thursday trios league has two teams with two lefties and one team with one out of six teams in total. Given that a lot of the right handers either throw straight or back-up, there is usually only one person playing the right side track on any pair of lanes.

There are also only 3 total lefties, including me, out of 10 teams in my Wednesday doubles league. And the other two lefties play straight up the middle. No one touches my line! :) (although, I would like to get more experience/practice with transition and making adjustments)

I've always been one of a couple of lefties in a league.
The league I've joined this year, with 10 4-man teams, has at least 7 lefties (including myself)--I've never seen it before. Most average less than 170, but two of them are well north of 200, and one has a 300 game this year.

I have 7 lefties on my Friday night league and 5 on my Sunday league odd since its only a twelve lane house.

I don't really know off hand, there's 32 teams. I seen three last night, I know there's a few more.

The thing I was looking at was how the scores and the lines compared and went as the lane broke down.
These are I believe pretty typical lane play for a lot of the league.
Of the 4 bowlers that had at least 1 200+ game
The Lefty (210 ave) went 184-279-234
The light green line (193 ave) went 144-221-171
The dark blue line (178 ave) went 248-160-164
And I (now my ave has dropped 10 pins in the last several weeks, it seems really dry for me.) went 176-221-179.

Do you believe some of these lines will be more successful than others in the long term

I think that the significant factor here is that while the righties all played different lines at the arrows, you all threw to the same area down the lane. I think that as the league wore on, the end of the pattern got totally fried, taking your ability to carry the corners with it. Try moving inside the far tracer for the last half of the league and see if you can find some fresh oil at the end of the pattern.

No, those are just the lines everyone was using.
I was looking more at how they related to my line and how the lanes were breaking down (Why I felt it was much dryer than it was earlier in the season.) and what I was seeing my ball do.
In regards to the pattern, from 10to10 I believe it's about the same as it was earlier in the season. The thing that changed about the time my ave started dropping was the oil from 10 out.
Earlier in the season there was more oil from 10 to around 7/6 which gave me a little more distance down the lane before my ball started hooking, but then they reduced it (or the machine needs maintenance.).
Now with that reduced oil and seeing how the lines of majority are playing that area 10 to 7, that means it's drying out that area even faster than it was. That's why my ball is taking off too early, so I have to stay in the oil more and try to play a tighter line.
Now I have moved in some (my green line) and am trying to target the break point more So I can stay out of where everyone is breaking down the line so fast. which is helping get ball down the lane better, if I had more speed and some revs I'd do a lot better.
That basically is where the guys rolling the high numbers are playing, the shot is walled up great for them.

Okay I agree with that, I was thinking that was about what was happening. That area was getting tore up down at the end of the pattern and corners were a problem not just for me either.
When I got the ball inside around 10 to 12 say down by the tracer, I was striking more.
Now here are my games to go with that chart:

The first game was using the Bad A$$.
The 2nd & 3rd games I was using the DV8 Dude and was trying to keep it more inside.
