First new ball since 2003. High revs/moderate speed

After 12+ years and many, many hundreds of games bowled on my Brunswick Power Groove Reactive, I think it's time to update my arsenal. The ball is beyond help and I want to treat myself to a new toy.

Ball Speed: 15-17mph
Revs: No idea, but they are high. I'm a two handed cranker.

My style of play is how I enjoy playing. I know I'll never make the PBA or even win a regional tournament. I love throwing the ball wide and getting the nasty snap hook at the end, ending up with pins flying all over. THAT is fun for me. Throwing a ball that hooks 3-5 boards is boring, it's like driving a sports car with an economy car engine. I throw at the third to forth arrow and trying to get it to around the 5th board from the gutter or so.

My current balls are the Brunswich Power Groove (rarely used unless the lanes are drier than beef jerky), Visionary Gladiator (got it free, currently my best ball) which I use on the THS, and a Lane #1 Grind for use if there are any lanes not used after a tournament or league.

I'm really trying to stick with Storm just...well...because.

If you're a two handed who wants to stick with Storm, then I'd go with a punch outer a black out.

Found the spec's on the Visionary Gladiator Pearl. Looks like a fairly low RG ball and not a real high differential. I've had pretty good luck with the Storm Hy-Road (original with hybrid coverstock) and their Lights Out. Their Punch Out is a little stronger than the Lights Out but it's RG is higher than the Gladiator. Perhaps the Storm IQ Tour Fusion might match up better with it's lower RG and low differential. It has some good backend snap. The Hy-Road, Lights Out and IQ Tour Fusion all use the same coverstock. Just different cores... Good luck...

Thanks. I was actually looking at the Hy-Road/IQ Tour. I did get to try my buddies Marvel-S. It's drilled fairly aggressive, so he says. I can throw that thing as hard as I can and it will break at the 2nd-3rd board from the right gutter and come back to crush the 4 pin, way too much for me. I bowled a few games with it and only got 2 nice pocket hits, both strikes.

So I'll probably go with the Hy-Road or IQ Tour. I wish I could throw my buddies Crux but I swear he has baby hands, I can't fit any fingers in there.
