Single greatest tip ever. I would give Bowl1820 a reputation thumbs up for posting it...but the site claims I give him too many reputation thumbs up and need to "spread it around".

I get calluses on left and right side of thumb. My ball fit is a bit tight which I like but may need to shave down the sides a bit. But after bowling a few frames my thumb seems to shrink and the fit is just perfect.
