Looking for sales/deals on equipment

If you are trying to get a really good deal on a ball or bag, where do you look for them other than bowlingball.com?

Buddiesproshop.com clearance deals are great I got my daughter a DV8 three ball tote/roller for $45 the other day. Occasionally find something good at bowlersmart.com. If it's not a super great deal I usually use Bowlingball.com as their shipping is super quick and the customer service has been top notch.

For balls...BowlerX is usually the best pricing with free shipping. Bowlingball.com also has good prices with free shipping, especially during black Friday type of sales.

For bags...I would go on Ebay. Bowling websites are hit or miss. I wanted to get a Pyramid roller bag because I've heard good things...but I could never catch them on sale or even marked down. BowlerX has great ball prices...but not so much for bags. So I went on Ebay...got a 4-ball Ebonite roller Grand Tour IV for < $150 with free shipping. I just had to be patient, bid, get outbid....try again, etc... until finally I got lucky. At the end of the day, I could have paid $30-$40 more and just got one off a bowling site...maybe with free shipping, maybe not...but why waste $30-$40 if I don't have to.

It also depends on what size bag you want. I found that the larger the bag...the less deals are out there. You can get 1-ball and 2-ball roller bags for next to nothing...especially used on Ebay. But 3-ball rollers were generally more expensive...closer to retail. 4-ball as well. And once you get to 6-ball rollers...virtually no deals out there on 6-ball rollers. I was really wanting the Brunswick 6-ball roller bag...but everywhere I checked it was $259-$279.

It makes sense because most people get a 1 or 2 ball roller to start...but quickly grow out of them and want a 3-ball. The 3-ball is affordable so people get those and then try to unload the 1-2 ball rollers. And even though I didn't think I'd ever need a 6-ball roller...I ended up experimenting with those two Encounters and ended up with a 4-ball roller and 2-ball shoulder bag...and I purposely bought the 4-ball roller to get away from carrying that heavy shoulder bag...but I just can't spend nearly $300 to get a 6-ball bag...that's too much.
