Jackal scent

i recently got a Jackal and I love it but it has a scent to it kind of like simple green. Does anybody else have this with their Jackal? I have put about 30 games on it the smell has dissipated some but is still there.

Maybe the smell is on purpose, because you'll be cleaning house with this ball?

I've noticed smells when balls are unboxed at the pro-shop. It usually goes away within a week on non storm balls
