Is there a Pay Phone or Phone booth still near you?

Who here still see's a Pay Phone or Phone Booth with or without the phone somewhere near where you live?

if so, As a extra does it work? and/or have a Phone book with it?


About the only place here is at the airport.

I work in downtown Tulsa and some of the old high rises we owned had them but everything has been taken out. I think my local pub still have one that works I'll look next time I'm out getting a beer. If so I'll snap a photo.

Only place I've seen them are at airports and hospitals. None out in public.

Yeah, there are a few around. I wouldn't touch them to see if they still work... at this point they're all at least 20 years old and covered in grime/filth

I think I remember seeing one at a 7-11 around 50 miles from where I live. Actually, a factory I worked at several years ago had a couple, which I had occasion to make use of once when I canceled a cell phone contract and hadn't gotten a new one yet.

I saw an old fashioned red one on the Queen Mary last weekend. No phone in it though.

Every time I see one I take a picture and put it on my Instagram. Someday they will be completely history.
